Christina Haack is still navigating her divorce from Josh Hall, with the help of celebrity attorney Laura Wasser, but her dating life is already a hot topic. The HGTV star fueled romance speculation when she posted a photo with general contractor Michael Lange on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
The duo looked rather comfortable and cozy in their body language as his arm wrapped around her waist and their heads tilted toward each other. (You can see the photos here.) She wrote on the snapshot of them at the nursery, “Putting in the work.” He reposted the image and added, “Shopping with the queen of @hgtv.”
Normally, this photo wouldn’t raise any dating suspicions, but this is the second time Lange showed up on her Instagram Story in less than a week. On Dec. 2, she showed only Lange’s legs sticking out from underneath her Christmas tree. “There are still good men left. One of them right here single handedly hoisted this 11 foot tree into my home. Appreciate you,” she wrote after tagging him.
He was also spotted on the set of The Flip Off, Haack’s 2025 home renovation show with her first ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa. He was seen wandering through the gardens while they filmed on his Thursday, Dec. 5 Instagram Story. Fans were chiming in on X with their opinions because they seem to think Haack has officially moved on from Hall with Lange.
“Wow — that was fast,” wrote one account. But another social media user clarified their status, “They aren’t dating just good friends.” Haack also jumped into the conversation on her Instagram Story to stop the rumors in their tracks. (You can see the photo here.)
“Slow news day…” she wrote. “I should be able to post pictures with my MARRIED male friends and male co-workers without it being an omg look who she’s dating thing. So bizarre and ridiculous.” The Christina on the Coast star also teased her pending divorce, adding, “Dear the media… I have plenty of interesting things to say (especially when it comes to my latest divorce) – we don’t need to invent things.”
So, Haack would like everyone to back off for now. She doesn’t want her dating life to be a public discussion, especially when she’s staying single.
