Anne Hathaway’s edgy alter ego has come out once again, this time in a truly stunning photoshoot for WWD.
On Dec 7, WWD posted a series of photos from their Weekend Issue starring Hathaway. They shared some edgy photos from the issue to their Instagram with the caption reading, “Photoshoots used to terrify Anne Hathaway. ‘I was always so scared about how I was going to fail,” she says.'”
They added, “But that’s what’s fun about being let inside Anne Hathaway’s world: She’s keen to peel back the layers. Tap the link in bio to see more inside Hathaway’s world in our WWD Weekend covershoot;” as well as tagging everyone who made the shoot possible.
In the photos, we see her looking so confident in an edgy setting, with Hathaway rocking her dark hair, as well as a puffy white blouse and black shorts. We also see a jaw-dropping pic of her in a toga-like white gown.
Then, we end the photos with Hathaway in an all-black ensemble, posing in an array of shorts that show her edgy alter ego, including the last moody mirror photo, which shows her looking so cool!
Whether it be her fashion or a photoshoot, Hathaway always pushes her comfort zone to show off an edgy, dark alter ego we’re always hypnotized by.
Hathaway has a more simple fashion philosophy. And let’s face it: the Academy Award-winningstar can rock any trend and look she chooses, she revealed she has a simple personal style, and it’s all about feeling good.
She previously told Vogue, “When I was a younger actress, a lot of the things I did were based in fear, wanting to do something right, and now I don’t mind doing things wrong. I don’t think I’ll fall apart, and the stakes don’t feel so high. So I’m dressing with a lot more gratitude and a lot more joy.”
