Fans are always curious about Tom Cruise‘s love life because there is always an air of mystery surrounding it. His recent appearances with CAA talent agent, Maha Dakhil, raised eyebrows as his possible new romance, but there’s an update on their relationship — and it’s pretty major.
The buzz began on Dec. 18 when the duo was spotted by the Daily Mail at the celebrity hotspot, GAIA London, sharing an “extremely cozy” dinner together. The “touchy-feely” night had people wondering if Dakhil was Cruise’s new girlfriend. Well, the rumors end here because the talent executive is a “happily married” woman, according to In Touch Weekly. She and Cruise have an affectionate friendship, but that’s all.
“When Tom and Maha get together, they are very chummy,” the source explained. “It’s clear they like each other very much and enjoy each other’s company, but that’s all. Tom’s not one to cross any lines.” So, the Top Gun star isn’t entering 2025 with a new romance and Dakhil’s husband would probably prefer that the gossip about his wife stops for good.
Cruise’s last major relationship was with Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova which ended in March 2024. The reason for their split was due to her ex-husband Dmitry Tsvetkov’s loose lips when it came to the tabloids. Tsvetkov spilled details about Khayrova to the Daily Mail in December 2023, discussing her love of money. He noted his ex’s “expensive and luxurious tastes” and warned Cruise that he would have to open his wallet to date her.
“Irrespective of whoever she’s with, Tom Cruise or anybody else, they should be aware that she likes the finer things in life and has expensive and luxurious taste,” Tsvetkov divulged. “Tom should keep his eyes and wallet wide open.” He even admitted to being a huge Cruise fan and revealed he had seen his film, Eyes Wide Shut, “around 30 times.” Um, that is awkward!
Cruise, who loves his privacy, didn’t want to risk a loose-lipped ex-husband. “He’s filming and can’t be shooting and have her husband saying stuff every time he is mentioned in the press,” an insider revealed to Page Six in March 2024. “They just didn’t want to deal with the ex-husband coming up with something nasty to say every few weeks.”
So, for now, Cruise remains single — he’s not dating his agent or anyone else.
