Fans might think it was Jason Kelce who had the smooth moves to reel his now-wife Kylie Kelce in, but it turns out the 32-year-old podcast host and mom of four (almost!) had some corny pickup lines. She revealed those intimate details to Allison Kuch on her Sunday Sports Club Podcast on Sunday, Jan. 12.
The adorable couple met on Tinder while Kylie was still in college, and she would often spend nights in her apartment swiping left and right with her college roommates more as a sport than for real romance. “So, I saw his pictures, and I was like, he’s cute, and he looks like he could, like, pick me up,” Kylie shared with Kuch. After matching with him, she “sent him a pickup line.”
Kylie continued, “I said, ‘I’ve fallen, I need life alert. I’ve fallen for you, and I can’t get up.’”
OK, pretty cheesy, but she wasn’t done there. “I said that. And he messaged back and was like, ‘No. Like, You gotta try harder,’” she added. “And so, I said, this is so bad. I really I mean, I limit how many people I tell this to, so this is this is privileged information.”
Kylie dug deep to divulge the NSFW line she used on the former Philadelphia Eagles center to get him interested. “I then messaged, ‘If I told you I work for UPS, would you let me handle your package?'” she continued. “And he was like, ‘Much better. I like that one a lot.’”
The dynamic duo has the same spicy sense of humor that works well for them in their relationship. It is why they have a growing family which includes daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, who will be two next month. Of course, we can’t forget that the Kelces also have a fourth baby girl on the way!
Kylie gushed about how the Kelces “welcomed [her] in with open arms” when she became a part of their family. “They’re a pretty small family, so it is a little bit on an adjustment,” she said to ABC’s Impact x Nightline in November 2023. “But it feels so warm and inviting like I think a big family feels, like it was sort of second nature to hop in there. And it is as fun as you think it is.”
It’s even more fun now that she has Taylor Swift joining the happy, crazy crew — and we’d love to know what a Kelce family celebration is like. They will probably keep that part of their lives private, but Kylie’s dating revelation with Jason proves they are pretty down to earth.
