Heather Locklear‘s mini-me daughter Ava may be more private than other celebrity kids, but she did make a rather unexpected appearance on her mother’s Instagram. And this appearance is honestly so sweet!
On Jan 25, Locklear shared a rare photo to her Instagram with the caption reading, “My future son in law gave me this! Such joy he is. 😇🥰”
In the snapshot, we see a glimpse at Locklear’s desk, which includes a candle from her future son-in-law and a rare photo of Ava, who looks so gorgeous as she chills out in workout gear by a rock. Ava even commented under the post, saying, “I love you and him so much!!! ❤️❤️”
Not only do we love to see that the ever-so-private Ava is seemingly thriving, but it’s so sweet to see how much her mom loves her future husband, real estate agent Tyler Farrar. (It seems as though they’ve known each other since 2018, working together in the Alpha Phi sorority, and started dating in 2019. They got engaged in Feb 2024!)
For those who don’t know, Locklear and her ex-husband Richie Sambora, with whom she was with from 1994 to 2007 welcomed their daughter Ava Elizabeth Sambora on Oct 1997.
Ava and Locklear have a truly wonderful mother-daughter bond, and have stood with each other through so much hardship. Ava even wrote about the greatest lesson her mother taught her to People, saying, “My mom always taught me to be kind to whomever I met. She treats every person with respect and makes them feel important. While she embodies kindness in many ways, her ability to care for and give to others is what I admire most. She is selfless and inspires me to be selfless as well.”
