While we know that Blake Lively probably won’t be in attendance at the 2025 Super Bowl alongside BFF Taylor Swift, chances are, we know of another Swift BFF who won’t be joining her. However, this BFF won’t be joining Swift because of legal drama, or any drama between them; but because her BFF is rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles instead of the Kansas City Chiefs.
In case you missed it, insiders claim Swift has a “playful rivalry” with her BFF Gigi Hadid, who is a proud Eagles fan because of her PA residence, and the fact that her BF Bradley Cooper is a big fan.
Insiders told Page Six that Swift and Hadid “have been teasing each other…Things might get heated between Taylor and Gigi but ultimately it’s all love between them.”
So an NFL rivalry is afoot between the longtime BFFs, but no worries there! For those who don’t know, Hadid and Swift have been pals since 2015. However, they first met the year prior, in March 2014, at the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
And Swift once gushed about Hadid in a 2017 Harper’s Bazaar profile. “As a friend, Gigi is one of the first people I go to for advice. She has this incredible ability to see all sides of a situation and simplify it for you, to see the complexity of people,” Swift said. “Gigi’s #1 rule is to treat people the way she’d want to be treated, so she’s on time (or early) to work, says hello to everyone on set, asks them how they are, and actually listens to their response.”
