When it comes to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s love story, it might be easy for fans to think they’ve followed them every step of the way. After all, from their first public outing together to their tell-all Netflix documentary, fans have seen them in just about every scenario. But, just recently, Markle’s new Instagram activity has been showing them in a whole new light: we now get to see Markle’s tributes to Harry too!
This Valentine’s Day, Markle posted a sweet tribute on Instagram to her husband of almost seven years. Alongside a sweet black-and-white photo of them kissing while having dinner and a glass of wine, Markle explained why they’ll be apart on the special holiday.
“Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families,” the Suits alum wrote. “Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created.”
Harry, who shares kids Lilibet, 3, and Archie, 5, with Markle, is currently leading the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia. This year’s Games, which began on Feb. 8, will be coming to an end on Feb. 16.
“My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever,” Markle continued in the caption. “Thank you for you. #lovewins.” She then signed off on the message with, “As ever, M.”
Prior to heading back home to take care of her kids, Markle joined Harry on the first few days of the Games (see here looks here!). On Feb. 8, she was even seen waving blue pompoms in the air as Harry gave his opening ceremony speech.
Two days later, Markle shared a funny video of hers nervously climbing onto a Snow Tube to go snow tubing for the very first time on Instagram Stories. “No, no, no…I really don’t want to it,” Markle said in the video, per Page Six.
Behind the camera, Harry cheered her on. “Come on, you’ll be absolutely fine!” he said. “You’ll be fine.”
Soon enough, Markle slid down the mountain and began spinning as she went. Harry, who seemed proud of his wife for conquering her fears, was laughing in the background.
From the looks of it, Markle and Harry are still bringing their A-game in being there for each other, as well as for their kids. It’s how they keep their spark alive!
