Now that Michael Bublé’s son Noah is in remission after a scary cancer diagnosis, the singer is able to return to the public spotlight. In addition to going on tour to promote his latest album, Love (which dropped on Nov. 16), he’s also on the cover of People magazine and getting candid about his personal life. In his exclusive interview with the magazine, he revealed his feelings for his wife, Argentinian actor Luisana Lopilato, are rooted in just how beautiful he knows she is on the inside.

“If you think she’s good on the outside, you should check out her insides,” Bublé told People. “She’s my hero.”
Bublé continued, “In any good marriage, I hope that your partner is a big part in keeping it real. My wife helps me keep perspective. She’s a centered, kind, beautiful human being who has her life together.” He admitted, “In the culture of celebrity, it’s easy to lose yourself sometimes,” but added, “[I]t’s wonderful to have someone who is such a solid person who can bring you right down to earth if you need.”
Bublé and Lopilato married in 2011 and had two ceremonies to celebrate: a civil ceremony followed by a significantly more lavish one featuring a 300-person guest list in Buenos Aires, per Marie Claire. The couple has three children: Noah, Elias and their younger sister Vida.

Earlier this month, Bublé received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with Lopilato by his side. After the ceremony, she told People, “Being here with Mike as his wife after all we’ve been through is so emotional. I can’t stop crying. Seeing him shine, and for the album to be out, as a wife it makes me very proud to be with him through this.”

He said, “I think it’s important not to lose sight of what makes you most happy, and what makes me most happy is being with my kids and my family.”
