The marriage between their characters on ABC’s Revenge could be described as contentious at best, but actors Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman found true happiness behind the scenes. And on Harbour Island in the Bahamas this Saturday, the former costars got hitched in real life.
Leading up to the big day, VanCamp posted photos of herself enjoying the tropical surroundings, from swimming in the crystal-clear blue waters to taking in a stunning sunset.

Also enjoying the sights and sounds was Ashley Madekwe, best known to Revenge fans as Ashley Davenport, who shared a few selfies upon her arrival to Harbour Island for the nuptials.
VanCamp, who currently stars in the Fox medical drama The Resident, first revealed her engagement to Bowman back in March 2017, posting a coy picture with her hands covering her face — and a big sparkler prominently displayed on her ring finger.

In a red-carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight shortly after the engagement, VanCamp described the proposal as being perfectly suited to the pair. “It was in a forest. We were in nature on a hike, kind of doing what we do,” she explained. “It was very, sort of, us. So yeah, it was beautiful.”
The couple met on the set of Revenge, which aired from 2011 to 2015, and reportedly began dating in 2012. VanCamp played Emily Thorne, who devised a plan to attract the eye of wealthy bachelor Daniel Grayson, played by Bowman.
Although VanCamp and Bowman have kept their personal relationship private for the most part, she did give in to a rare moment of gushing during an interview with InStyle Australia in 2014.
“I have a wonderful love in my life,” she said, adding, “Trust is the most important thing in any relationship, because everything falls into place after that.”

And it might not be long before VanCamp and Bowman expand their family, if her comments to InStyle Australia are any indication. “I find myself dreaming about [having children] all the time,” she confessed. “In your late 20s, you start to realize you can’t call yourself a baby anymore.”
Congrats to the happy (new) husband and wife!
