Full House Stars John Stamos & Bob Saget Go on a Cute Double Date

What do you do after you get married? You go on double dates with other married couples, of course. For example, John Stamos and Bob Saget went on a double date with their wives, Caitlin McHugh and Kelly Rizzo. Thankfully, Saget was kind enough to share a photo from their outing on Instagram on Tuesday.

Based on the picture, the foursome look cozy in a booth, all while wearing some happy smiles. Oh, and the four even wore darker-colored apparel, which makes it look like they matched outfits on purpose for the occasion. They probably didn’t really plan to wear similar outfits, but, hey, there’s no harm in hoping so.

Saget, who brought Danny Tanner to life on Full House next to Stamos’ Uncle Jesse (they also appear in Netflix’sFuller House as the same characters), wrote a pretty funny caption to accompany the image.

“What can you say about someone you’ve loved for so long and want to spend the rest of your life with?” he began. “But enough about @JohnStamos – We are both so lucky to have married these wonderful beautiful women- @eattravelrock and @caitlinskybound – And we know which one we are each married to….whew.”

According to People, Rizzo, posted the same image on her Instagram Story and captioned it, “Love having dinner with my brother and sister-in-law.” Yes, she refers to Stamos and McHugh as her brother and sister-in-law. How cute is that?

If you grew up watching Full House, it’s wonderful to see Stamos and Saget are still friends who also support each other in their marriages and in life.

Not only did Stamos and Saget both get engaged to their respective partners around the same time, but they discussed their proposals with one another ahead of time. “John Stamos and I were texting ahead of time,” Saget told People in November 2017. “We are incredibly close, and I knew that he was going to [propose] — sorry, Caitlin! — and he knew that I was going to.”

See? They really are that close, and so much so that they now go on double dates with each other — and proudly share it with their fans.
