Say what you will about the Bachelor franchise’s success rate, but let’s give some credit where credit is due — many (OK, some) couples who met on the show actually went the distance and ended up having beautiful Bachelor weddings and lasting marriages.
Fans were skeptical of season 22’s leading man, Arie Luyendyk Jr., and his pick, Lauren Burnham, considering he initially proposed to Becca Kufrin in the show’s dramatic finale. Well, he and Burnham beat the odds and are set to tie the knot over the weekend in a Maui ceremony. Plus, they have a baby on the way!
Luyendyk and Burnham are certainly not the only reality romance to prove the cynics wrong. Hey, inaugural Bachelorette Trista Rehn and her hubby Ryan Sutter have been married since 2003. And after years of back and forth and two rounds of Bachelor in Paradisedrama, fan faves Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon are set to say I do this year.
Iaconetti and Haibon will be following the in footsteps of a special circle of Bachelor alums who made it down the aisle. Lifelong commitments are possible on national TV, Bachelor doubters. Maybe these romantic weddings will make you believe in true reality love.
Trista Rehn & Ryan Sutter
It seems like just yesterday that ABC’s very first Bachelorette, Trista Rehn, was getting a televised proposal from firefighter Ryan Sutter. The pair continued to let fans in on their love story by having a wedding that aired on ABC, aptly titled Trista & Ryan’s Wedding. They got hitched at a resort in Rancho Mirage, California, in front of family and friends (and a reported 26 million viewers). Rehn and Sutter renewed their vows in 2014. Aww!

Back in 2012, Bachelorette‘s season seven’s J.P. Rosenbaum and Ashley Hebert wed in a stunning ceremony at a historic Pasadena, California, hotel that included “blossoming floral arrangements in dusty rose, champagne, and ivory tones,” according to Inside Weddings. Hebert walked down the aisle to a piano version “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” E! News reported.

Another Bachelorette, another wedding! Except this time, Hartsock, season seven’s leading lady, decided not to broadcast her big day. She and Siegfried married at the historic Wayfarers Chapel in Palos Verdes, California, which — fun fact! — was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright’s son, Lloyd Wright.
“It was exciting to wear my lace gown for the ceremony, but I was definitely ready for the reception in my beaded, chiffon dress! This dress is so comfortable and vintage that I felt like I stepped back in time,” Hartsock said of her bridal look in a post from her personal blog. Did we mention she designs wedding gowns?
Sean Lowe & Catherine Giudici

Season 17’s Sean Lowe and winner Catherine Giudici went the televised route with their 2014 nuptials, marrying in front of ABC cameras at the Four Seasons in Santa Barbara, California.
“I had so much say in the feel of the wedding: design, colors, look, flowers, everything that mattered to me,” Giudici revealed to D Weddings. “But a lot of the day was a surprise to me because I gave a lot of responsibility over to their team since I wasn’t an expert and everything had to be a little more extravagant since it was going to be on TV. What a production!”
Evan Bass & Carly Waddell
Bachelor in Paradise season three love connection Bass and Waddell are clearly fans of the beach — the pair married in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The event got screen time on season four of Paradise, with Chris Harrison acting as their officiant. I’m not crying, you’re crying. (And so was Ashley Iaconetti, of course.)

Speaking of fan favorites from Bachelor in Paradise, Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert also exchanged vows for all of Bachelor Nation to witness. The couple’s milestone moment all went down at the St. Regis Monarch Beach in California and included a performance by Seal as well as some familiar Bachelor faces as guests.
“I loved the mood. It was exactly the way I had envisioned it,” Roper divulged to People.
