Exciting news for the Lopez family! On Friday, Mario Lopez and his wife, Courtney, enlisted their kids, Dominic and Gia, to help them make a major announcement. In a “fam-bam update” video on Lopez’s Instagram, Courtney revealed that she’s pregnant with the couple’s third child, then later updated her own Instagram with sweet family photos to show off just how pumped everyone is for the new addition.
Lopez began the video by asking his daughter, whom he affectionally called Gigi, to tell his followers what’s new in her life. She said she’s busy with gymnastics, dance, piano and school, while her brother, nicknamed Nico, said he’s now into wrestling and that he still does martial arts and gymnastics. Lopez, meanwhile, said, “I’m crazy with work, as usual. Mrs. Lopez, what about you?”
At this point in the video, Courtney stepped out from behind her family to show off her baby bump. “I’m havin’ a baby!” she said, while her kids screamed in excitement.
“That’s right, that’s right!” Lopez said, laughing. “We are adding to the team. We’re going to be a party of five.” He said they don’t yet know what the baby’s assigned sex at birth will be, though Gia and Dominic seem torn on what they’d prefer for their new sibling. Courtney joked, “I hope it’s a Frenchie,” while holding up the family’s French bulldog.

Following the video update, Courtney posted a series of photos on her own Instagram, captioned, “Oh BABY!! Here we go again… #LopezPartyOfFive #DebutingInJuly.”
In the first photo, she smiles for the camera while Lopez kisses her exposed baby bump; in the second and third, Gia and Dominic wear shirts that say “Best Big Sister” and “Best Big Brother.” Finally, the last photo in the series shows the family dog wearing a vest that simply reads “Big Brother.”

It’s beyond sweet that the whole Lopez family was in on this announcement, and we can’t wait to see more updates as Courtney’s pregnancy progresses. We’re stoked for this soon-to-be family of five!
