First came love, then came… well, actually, first came roughly three dozen women competing for his affection, then came love, then came baby (bump) and then came marriage. But what matters is that they made it — Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham are now husband and wife. He’s a bachelor no more!
On Saturday, the former reality TV suitor married his fiancée in a gorgeous Hawaiian ceremony in front of 100 of their loved ones, Us Weekly confirmed.

Burnham looked beautiful in a beaded gown with floral embellishments by Hayley Paige, while Luyendyk was styled in a sharp Kenneth Cole suit. The ceremony took place at Haiku Mill in Maui, with Bachelor Nation’s own Chris Harrison officiating the service. Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a two-hour cocktail and multi-course dinner at the same location, per Entertainment Tonight. On the menu? Prime rib and fresh local seafood.

Among the other members of Bachelor Nation in attendance were Jenna Cooper, Maquel Cooper, Marikh Mathias and Seinne Fleming on the bride’s side, as well as friends of the groom Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici.
On the big day, Harrison took to Instagram to congratulate the happy couple, saying, “It’s been an incredible week full of love and laughs. Today I’m honored to stand before your friends and family and officiate your wedding. Love you both @ariejr @laureneburnham I now pronounce you….”

Other Bachelor Nation guests also joined in on the social media sentiments, some using the punny wedding hashtag #LarieGetsMauid.

The couple met in 2017, when she was among the women competing for his heart (and final rose) on The Bachelor. However, they didn’t get engaged in the season finale — Luyendyk first became engaged to romantic hopeful Becca Kufrin before fans witnessed their brutal breakup on camera. One day later, Luyendyk proposed to Burnham on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose.
All’s well that ends well, right? Kufrin subsequently got her own season of The Bachelorette and has since moved on with contestant Garrett Yrigoyen.
Luyendyk and Burnham have enjoyed a bit of a whirlwind year, announcing late last year that they were expecting their first child together: a baby girl.

In March 2018, Luyendyk told People of the couple’s story, “Love is not always perfect. Everyone finds each other in a different way. It’s not always a fairy tale, but as long as Lauren and I have each other, we’re happy.”
And while some parts of the pair’s history have surprised Harrison, the host isn’t shocked that Luyendyk and Burnham ended up together.
“I was not surprised they’re getting married. The baby announcement caught me off guard, but I’m unbelievably excited for them,” Harrison told ET in December 2018. “They built this life in Arizona, they have the new house, they put the pool in, they’re just a cute couple. I love them to death and I’m glad that they have kind of gotten away and gotten back to their life. So I’m very, very happy for them.”
Best wishes to the happy (Bachelor) couple!
