Well, here is some very exciting and romantic news. After quite the whirlwind romance, Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are engaged. Pratt announced the news on Instagram on Monday with a photo of his now-fiancée hugging him and showing off her stunning ring. It seems like the picture was taken moments after he proposed, and it sure looks like the two couldn’t be happier.
Pratt also sweetly captioned the imaged, “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
Some people might think they’re moving fast, but, hey, the couple clearly knows they want to spend the rest of their lives together. Also, as long as they’re happy and in love with one another, that’s all that matters.
It also might be surprising to see Pratt announcing their big news on social media, especially since the two have been relatively private about their partnership. Only this past December did they make their relationship Instagram official after dating for what appears to be about seven months or so. They first made headlines as a couple in June 2018 around Father’s Day.

On Dec. 13 of last year, Pratt posted a photo collage of Schwarzenegger on Instagram for her birthday. This was the first time either had publicly acknowledged their relationship. Next to the cute and personal images, Pratt wrote, “Happy Birthday Chief! Your smile lights up the room. I’ve cherished our time together. Thrilled God put you in my life. Thankful for the laughs, kisses, talks, hikes, love and care.”
Just this past November, Us Weekly reported Pratt was going to propose to Schwarzenegger sometime soon. “They’ll be engaged soon,” a source told the publication. That same insider also claimed Pratt had been turning down work “so he can spend time with [Schwarzenegger].”

Furthermore, in September 2018, a different source told People about Pratt and Schwarzenegger taking their relationship to the next level. “They’re such a great fit together. It’s only been a few months but Chris and Katherine are both very serious about the relationship and their friends wouldn’t be surprised if they got engaged sooner rather than later.”
Well, now here they are engaged and ready to live happily ever after. This is definitely a thrilling moment for the two, and let’s send all the congratulations their way.
