To this day, it seems that it’s all good between exes Anna Faris and Chris Pratt. We’ve been witnesses to their (publicly) amicable split and watched as the former spouses co-parented their son, Jack, as they moved on with their lives. Now, we’re once again reminded of just how cool these two are with one another based on the fact that Faris congratulated Pratt on his engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger after he shared his life-changing news on his personal Instagram on Sunday.
After less than a year of dating, Pratt confirmed on his Instagram on Sunday that he had proposed to Schwarzenegger and that she had accepted.
“Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!” Pratt wrote as the caption to a photo of the couple embracing that appears to have been taken right after Pratt popped the question.
Schwarzenegger reposted the photo to her own Instagram on Monday, adding her own loving sentiments for her fiancé.
“My sweet love. Wouldn’t want to live this life with anyone but you,” tacking on a heart emoji and diamond ring emoji to go with the mood of the caption.

The love is very real between Pratt and Schwarzenegger, who both posted a rare photo together during this happy time; they often keep their relationship off social media, but this is an important occasion. And it seems the love and happiness for this couple also extends to their circle of friends, like Pratt’s Avengers: Infinity War costars Gwyneth Paltrow, Tom Holland and Karen Gillan as well as Pratt’s ex, Faris.
Faris took some time on Monday to hop into the comments section of Pratt’s Instagram post to send along her warm wishes for the couple. In a kind message, Faris wrote, “I’m so happy for you both!! Congratulations!”

Although Faris has kept details of her own dating life post-Pratt, who she split from in 2017, under wraps (she’s been romantically linked to producer Michael Barrett since November 2017 although neither she nor Barrett have confirmed a relationship), it’s good to see she’s keeping it positive with him as an ex. We wouldn’t expect any less from the former spouses, who are comfortable enough in the status of their post-split relationship to hang out together with their son. It’s good to see Faris is further cosigning Pratt’s new love and has no problem shouting it from the Instagram mountaintops.
