Rumors are flying because of two reality stars who may or may not be dating, though reports seem to be leaning toward the latter. Former Playboy playmate Kendra Wilkinson and Bachelorette alum Chad Johnson were spotted holding hands on what looked like a date earlier this week, which led many to speculate that romance is blooming between the two. However, the PDA may not be what it appears, according to Johnson himself. A rep for Wilkinson also denied that anything romantic was going on.
On Wednesday, Wilkinson’s rep told Access Hollywood that their outing and the hand-holding “was for a taping,” noting that any rumors about romance blossoming between the pair are “not real.”
The same day, just hours after photos emerged of the hand-holding via TMZ, Johnson was a guest on The Tomorrow Show with Keven Undergaro, where he remained relatively mum when Wilkinson’s name was mentioned. “No comment,” he said. When pushed, he elaborated, “Yeah, she’s cool. I mean, we’re just… We were walking down the street and I was like, ‘What up, Kendra?’ and we held hands. Boom.”
This explanation wasn’t enough for Undergaro, who continued to push. Johnson again refused to contextualize his relationship with Wilkinson, saying, “No comment. I don’t — I don’t know. I just… not right now. Not yet.”
Meanwhile, Wilkinson has been outspoken about moving on from her estranged husband Hank Baskett, with whom she split in 2018 after nearly a decade of marriage. She posted a selfie on Instagram in December, captioning it, “Lookin for a new love? Nah. Looking to tailor myself to please the eyes of others? Nah. Bettering myself to make people happy? Nah. This year I’ll be me and let go of anything holding me back only accept eyes of love and support.”

We have no idea what’s really going on with Wilkinson and Johnson, if anything at all, but one thing’s for sure: They both looked happy in the photos TMZ released, which is ultimately a good thing.
