The time has come for these Bachelorette alums to finally tie the knot! On Monday, Rachel Lindsay revealed via Instagram that she and her fiancé, Bryan Abasolo, are officially getting married this summer. She followed up the exciting announcement in an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight wherein she played coy about some of the details of her upcoming nuptials.
“I am ready! I just announced on Instagram literally today that it is summer 2019 that we are getting married, the latter part of summer. I haven’t announced the official date yet,” Lindsay told ET. “It will be a destination wedding in a warmer location, closer to Colombia, where Bryan’s from, but it’s not in Colombia.”
Lindsay recently hired wedding planner Michael Russo to help with her big day. In the caption of her Instagram photo, which features the two of them smiling big as she holds up a bag that reads, “Happily ever after,” Lindsay wrote, “O-M-G It’s happening! Wedding planner [check]. Thank you @mikierusso for making me a bride! I’m beyond excited. I cant wait to take you all along this journey and share details with you. Countdown to making RnB official.”

She told ET she always thought she’d end up getting married in a courthouse, but now, “I am doing things a little different than I thought, so I’m excited. I wanted a 50 person wedding. We’re already at 150!” However, her wedding party will stay small. “I’m not going to have bridesmaids — maybe [just] my sisters.”
As for her dress, Lindsay has chosen to work with designer Randi Rahm, who’s designed many dresses for The Bachelorette in the past.
“She did the dress that I met the guys in the first night [and] she designed the dress that Bryan proposed to me in, so it only makes sense that that’s who I go with to design my wedding dress that I’m walking down the aisle to Bryan in,” Lindsay explained. “I’m very, very excited… We’re hitting the ground running. [I’ve] gotta go to New York, get fitted!”

In December, Lindsay opened up about how she’s done waiting to marry Abasolo. At the time, she told ET, “I’m so excited and ready to marry Bryan, that we were a little bit too angsty in what we wanted to do. We want to get married, but waiting is hard, and now that I realize it’s not going to be on TV I actually have to start putting things in motion.”
From the sounds of it, Lindsay and Abasolo are well on their way to walking down the aisle. We couldn’t be happier for them.
