Well, well, well, it looks like a certain someone is still checking in on Jennifer Lopez even though they’ve been broken up for a hot minute. On Tuesday, Lopez’s #10DayChallenge progress picture got ex Diddy’s attention and had the music mogul leaving an interesting comment we need to take a closer look at.
In case you missed it, Lopez and her partner, Alex Rodriguez, just finished up a 10-day challenge to cut out the sugar and carbs in their diets while maintaining a rigorous exercise regimen and healthy diet as a way of kick-starting their fitness goals in the new year. The challenge has caught the attention of many, including Today‘s Hoda Kotb, who started doing the challenge as well. The challenge may sound a bit extra, but the latest progress picture Lopez posted to Instagram on Tuesday has us thinking this is all the proof we need to stop knocking it.
It shows nine days’ worth of results. Lopez is sporting a pink beanie, bikini top and pink marbled leggings, her abs and toned arms in full view of the camera. It’s bananas how good Lopez looks (and she was no slouch before she did this challenge, TBH) and folks are taking notice, including Diddy.

As captured by the Instagram Comments By Celebs, a screenshot of Diddy‘s short and somewhat saucy comment was preserved for the rest of the world to pore over. Diddy hopped into Lopez’s comments on her progress pic, writing, “OMG” and including a heart-eyes emoji for good measure. Of course, Diddy wasn’t the only one who’s been romantically linked to Lopez to hop into the comments to leave her some love; Rodriguez also left a cute comment: “Lucky me” including the heart, baseball and green check mark emojis to show his support.

While there’s no need to get swept up in the fact that Diddy commented on the photo or wonder if this is Diddy making a play for Lopez, we’re still very intrigued to see that he’s out here boldly showing love for Lopez (a heart-eyes emoji is seriously strong in our opinion). But that support and friendly love for Lopez seems to fall in line with comments Lopez made to E! News in 2014 about the state of their relationship. Back then, she explained, “Here’s the thing about me and Puff, and I’ll always call him Puff, we always root for each other, we support each other. We try to do things that uplift, we try to do things through our art and our music, which is our love and our acting and everything that inspires people. And to see him do all that he’s done, to me, you know, makes me proud.”
In that spirit, we’re gonna go ahead and say it’s actually sweet to see Diddy showing love publicly for his ex, because you know what? If we gave up sugar and carbs for 10 days straight, we’d want all the love and support possible too.
