Here comes the bride! Fans of Christina El Moussa will be happy to hear her latest update on her upcoming HGTV series, Christina on the Coast. Per ET, it will include a look into her personal life — including her relationship with and wedding to Ant Anstead.
“You’re getting really high design, but you’re also getting a glimpse of my personal life, for example, the engagement, the nutrition book I’m writing,” El Moussa told ET at Tuesday’s Television Critics Association press tour, adding of her new husband, “Yeah, he’s in it — the engagement, the wedding, the whole thing.”
This should prove to be an exciting development for El Moussa’s fans considering news of her winter wonderland nuptials in December came as a total surprise to, well, everyone.
“We got really lucky, we really did. My publicist met with a lot of the planners and everyone just kept it secret. It was amazing that can still happen,” El Moussa said. “I was just really trying to stay calm and enjoy all the moments of it.”

Although both El Moussa and Anstead have shared photos from the big day, Christina on the Coast will undoubtedly go behind the scenes in a way fans have not been privy to. Spoiler alert? With the way these two gush about each other, their love story is bound to be super-cute.
“He’s hot! He’s a keeper,” she raved to ET. “I know, when I was first sent a photo of him, I was like, ‘What?!’ Zoom in, like geez. He’s a cutie.”
El Moussa met Anstead in late 2017, around a year after her highly publicized split from then-husband and Flip or Flop cohost Tarek El Moussa. She and Anstead were reportedly introduced by a mutual friend.
It will also be interesting to see how El Moussa and her ex got to the place they are now, which is good by all accounts.
“Just like everything, it takes time, and it takes respecting each other’s boundaries and showing up to work in a good mood,” El Moussa said of working with Tarek. “We’re still here to make a great show and do our job and we got really lucky ‘cause we have an amazing crew that we work with. That really does a great job of just keeping it super light and fun on set. Luckily we both just love what we do, so that part came easy.”

The two — who share custody of kids Taylor, 8, and Brayden, 3 — appear to be totally committed to making co-parenting work. In fact, they’re basically neighbors.
“We live two streets apart. We’re both in Newport. We’re co-parenting. The kids are doing fabulous. They’re at a new school, and everything’s going really good,” El Moussa said.
Speaking to Us Weekly on Tuesday, El Moussa even revealed that Tarek reached out after her wedding to wish her and Anstead well.
“He texted both me and Ant, ‘Congratulations.’ I think it’s really good closure for all of us and it’s a fresh start for him as well,” El Moussa said, noting that she hopes Tarek finds “someone who treats my kids very well, just like Ant treats my kids.” (Anstead also has two children from a previous marriage: Amelie, 15, and Archie, 12.)
Christina on the Coast is set to premiere on HGTV in May.
