In case you had any doubts that Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have the kind of love that country ballads are written about, Brooks took to Twitter on Valentine’s Day to let the world know just how crazy he is about his wife of 13 years.

A husband who calls you queen, plugs your latest track release and isn’t afraid to unabashedly use exclamation points to get his adoration of you across? Ya done good, Yearwood — he’s definitely a keeper.
Yearwood is clearly hustling her heart off this Valentine’s Day to promote her latest solo LP Let’s Be Frank, a tribute to music icon Frank Sinatra. However, she did steal a moment on Saturday morning to wish her fans a preemptive Valentine’s Day via a casual photo of herself with Brooks.

Available at Williams-Sonoma stores all over the country, it’s Yearwood’s first solo album in more than a decade.
While it naturally features many of Ol’ Blue Eyes’ biggest hits (think “All the Way” and “Come Fly With Me”), it also features the very song Brooks gave a shoutout to: “For the Last Time,” an original song the couple wrote together.
Yearwood and Brooks found inspiration in their own love story, which makes sense. The country music sweethearts met in 1987, went on tour together years later, started dating in the early 2000s and got hitched in 2005.
And in all that time, they’ve never shied away from sharing their super-sweet feelings for one another.

“He is a whatever-it-takes-guy. He is. I saw him looking up a video on how to repair the sink in the bathroom, and he did it from watching a video,” Yearwood revealed at the 2019 MusiCares Person of the Year Award gala honoring Dolly Parton on Friday night, adding, “If I go, ‘Hey, I need a dress for tonight and I don’t have time to go shopping,’ he could buy the dress and it would be perfect. I’m telling you, he is amazing.”
Not one to pass up a chance to shower praise on his wife, Brooks responded to Yearwood’s anecdote with one of his own, saying, “That’s very sweet. I can one-up her. I needed some help stringing fence once, and she put some Carhartts on and we went out and strung fence, and I’ve been in love ever since.”
We’ll give you a moment to compose yourself after melting into a giant puddle of sentimental goo. Now, gird your heart ‘cause this last bit is sure to send it aflutter.
When asked last week by the New York Post about her busy promotional schedule on this particular holiday, Yearwood insisted you won’t hear her complain about having to work — and here’s the reason: “You know, this is going to sound so corny,” she said, “but it’s really kind of Valentine’s Day every day.”
