Never one to do things on a small scale, it looks like Kanye West has stepped it up big-time for Valentine’s Day 2019. On Thursday, Kim Kardashian West was surprised with Kenny G serenading her in her living room as part of West’s gift to her. Even better, she posted multiple videos from the very romantic performance to her Twitter so the rest of the world can get a look at how it all went down.
As you might expect, Kardashian West posted multiple videos of Kenny G’s surprise performance, which was arranged by West, on her Twitter and also her Instagram Story. The first video shows Kenny G standing in the middle of her and West’s living room surrounded by numerous individual roses, each in their own glass vase. Kardashian West ecstatically captioned the first video with all caps, writing, “NO BIG DEAL KENNY G IN MY LIVING ROOM!!! Happy Valentines Day,” adding three kiss emoji at the end.

But much like the smooth stylings of Kenny G for this special Valentine’s surprise, the videos from Kardashian West kept coming. A second video was posted on Twitter, this time showing Kenny playing a super-soulful rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

The final video failed to tell us what song Kenny was playing, but it did feature a very sweet message for West from his wife: “Beat [sic] husband award goes to mine!!!! Most thoughtful gifts ever!!!!”

OK, so real talk. We’ve got to give credit where credit is due. West totally hit this one out of the ballpark. It may be a very extra way to start today’s Valentine’s Day festivities, but it was also pretty cute too. We’re curious to see just what else West got to celebrate Kardashian West on this loving holiday.
