The Bachelor‘s Ben Higgins is off the market once more. After hinting on his Ben and Ashley: Almost Famous podcast last month that he was in a long-distance relationship with someone he was excited about, Higgins took to Instagram to introduce his new girlfriend, Jessica Clarke, to the world. Here’s what we know about the new Bachelor Nation couple.
Higgins’ post features him and Clarke, a Nashville-based running enthusiast who does international philanthropy work, with their arms around each other on a Generous Coffee trip to Honduras. Underneath the photo, he wrote, “I’ve been selfishly keeping this girl to myself for too long! Hey friends meet @jessclarke_! I successfully slid into her Dm’s a few months ago. I took a risk and I am glad I did. She is someone special, and I look forward to where life is going to take us. Stay tuned for the journey. In addition, this picture was taken this week in Honduras. I got to spend some time with an incredible group of people from all over the USA on a @generous_coffee_ adventure. Life is good!”
Clarke reposted the same photo as well as one more from the same trip. She wrote, “My secret boyfriend, Ben! He has one of the biggest hearts and kindest spirits, I got to share Honduras with him this past week and I’m excited for many more adventures!”

According to People, Clarke is 23 years old and graduated in 2018 from the University of Mississippi, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing and communications. She currently works at Valet Energy in Nashville, but according to her photos on Instagram, she seems passionate about running and caring for others — something she and Higgins have in common.
When he first mentioned her on his podcast in January, Higgins said, “She’s, like, the best, purest person I know, so a lot of [our] conversations are about our lives,” he reflected. At the time, he reflected on how their long-distance relationship made conversation a focal point, which was something he also got used to during his Bachelor days. “So we FaceTime a lot, and it feels very similar because we don’t get time together. It’s very intentional. It’s very focused. And if we’re going to spend any time with each other, it’s going to be in conversation,” he said.
Higgins and Clarke will even be taking their conversational skills to his podcast. Us Weekly reports that Clarke will be a special guest on the Feb. 25 episode of Ben and Ashley: Almost Famous. After his 2017 breakup with Lauren Bushnell, it’s good to see Higgins dating again; he and Clarke seem to make each other happy, which is worth celebrating.
