The 91st Academy Awards have come and gone, but that doesn’t mean we can’t reminisce over what occurred throughout the ceremony. For example, it’s time to discuss all the behind-the-scenes 2019 Oscars moments you missed.
As always, there were many celebrity-involved meetings and moments that happened backstage, in the audience and even before and after the show that viewers may have not seen when they were busy live-tweeting all the action. Thanks to a whole bevy of social media photos and videos, memorable GIFs, other quickly captured moments from event photographers and beyond, there were many instances of truly great behind-the-scenes moments that zipped right by you. Plus, they’re moments that involve darlings of the night, like Lady Gaga, Charlize Theron and Jennifer Lopez, so you’ll definitely want to check out these moments.
1. Lady Gaga fixed Rami Malek’s tie

This turned out to be one of the cuter moments from the award show.
2. Emma Stone & Allison Janney had a moment
The two previous Oscar winners shared an animated moment on the Oscars red carpet before they made their way into the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. We’d give anything to know what Stone is reacting to, TBH.
3. Chris Evans helped Regina King onstage
Chris Evans stole this year’s Oscars multiple times, but him assisting Regina King onstage after her best supporting actress win was his best and most chivalrous moment.
4. Rami Malek fell off the stage

According to Entertainment Weekly, Malek fell off the stage after he won best actor. He reportedly hit the ground hard and was treated by paramedics immediately following the unfortunate incident. It’s unclear if Malek sustained any injuries, but we hope he’s fine and celebrating his well-deserved win.

The Office costars and former romantic partners, who are also really good friends, had quite the epic time at the Oscars. Kelly Kapoor and Ryan Howard fans will be pleased. This also isn’t the first time they’ve gone to the Oscars together.
6. Amy Adams & her hubby were thrilled to be there
Nominee Amy Adams was caught in the crowd at the Oscars looking super-pumped to see a fellow celebrity, and her husband, Darren Le Gallo, even enthusiastically waved to say hey. How cute are they?

After Lady Gaga took home her first Oscar for best original song (for “Shallow” from A Star Is Born), she understandably cried many tears of joy backstage.

Richard E. Grant, a best supporting actor nominee and lifelong fan of Barbra Streisand, finally got to meet his idol backstage at the Oscars on Sunday night, and you can bet your bottom dollar he documented it with a series of photos for all the world to see.
