He and rumored longtime girlfriend, Katie Holmes, recently went on a Miami vacation together around New Year’s Eve, which was only two months ago. So, what’s happening here?
At this time, neither Foxx nor Holmes has made a direct statement about their alleged breakup. A source told Us that during Foxx’s half-hour performance at the third annual Entertainment Studios Oscar Gala Supporting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, he was “very nonchalant” when he mentioned his relationship status: “While he was referring to married and single couples, he just dropped the line ‘I’m single.’”
According to the publication, Foxx and Holmes have reportedly been together since at least 2013, which would make such a low-key mention of their breakup even weirder, if they have in fact split. Six years together surely warrants more than a simple comment at a charity comedy show, right?
