Well, this just made our morning a little sweeter. Earlier this week, Jessie J shared a screenshot of a message from Channing Tatum, her boyfriend of a few months. Not gonna lie, this Instagram message exchange is thawing our cold, cynical hearts and is also giving us a clearer picture of the kind of relationship Tatum and Jessie reportedly have, which we’re so grateful for because they so rarely talk about it in public. But honestly, how can we resist swooning for Tatum, a man who writes really adorable raps for his girlfriend?
As seen in the screenshot of Jessie’s private conversation with Tatum, he responds to a since-deleted Instagram Story showing Jessie wearing a red flannel shirt. The caption he wrote in response to the photo will all but melt your heart: “Yes I won’t rest till I caress Fresh face Jess. I will finesse till Success. Never digress. Just progress. Bless.”
Looks like someone’s rhymes are very on point. Jessie’s reply to Tatum’s very gushy rap? “Hahahaha,” she writes, continuing, “Baaaarrs yeah.”
The exchange is preceded by Jessie jokingly chiding Tatum for posting to his own Instagram Stories about a recently lowkey date they had, presumably hoping Tatum would keep their dating like under wraps. If you ask us, the whole screenshot definitely qualifies as a cute look at their growing relationship.
In a move that shows Tatum pays attention to what’s happening in Jessie’s life, we suspect that “fresh face Jess” comment is also be referring to this cute bikini pic Jessie posted while she was vacationing in Barbados. The caption for that photo reads: “You’ve got to love a girl who accessorizes her bikini with no makeup and four plates of nachos and rice.”
It’s not the first time, though, that we’ve seen the newish couple connecting on social media. Tatum also posted a photo on Instagram in November 2018 from Jessie’s London concert.
“This woman just poured her heart out on stage at the Royal Albert Hall. Whoever was there got to witness something special. Wow,” Tatum captioned that shot. He also shared a brief video clip on his Instagram Story of the “Domino” singer impressing the concert-goers. Tatum wrote of his lady, “She went off tonight! #RoseTour.”

Still, for the most part, Jessie and Tatum have been keeping their relationship on the down low since it was reported that they were dating. We’re super curious to see where this admittedly cute relationship between the pair will go, and we’re totally going to start using “baaaarrs yeah” as our new catchphrase.
