Another Hollywood couple just took the leap from happily affianced to happily-ever-after! On Saturday, Glee star Lea Michele married Zandy Reich in a romantic Northern California ceremony. Per People, the couple celebrated their nuptials with family and close friends — including Michele’s Glee co-stars Darren Criss and Becca Tobin, as well as Scream Queens star Emma Roberts. Presumably also in attendance were Jamie-Lynn Sigler and JoAnna Garcia Swisher, who headed to Hawaii with Michele last month for a bachelorette vacay.
“We are so excited to be married and grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family,” the couple told People. “And most of all, we’re so happy to spend the rest of our lives together.” Michele and Reich have been dating around two years and got engaged on April 29, 2018. Shortly after Reich — the president of AYR clothing company — popped the question, Michele told People she could hardly believe what was happening. “I think the first thing I said to him was, ‘Stop joking around!’ So I was super surprised,” she said. “Everyone said, ‘Try to be present because it’ll happen so quickly.’ Which I didn’t listen to at all and blacked out and I barely remember. We both blacked out and were like, ‘What? Did we say yes? Is this happening?’”

But it’s the story of how they met that really makes their wedding a full-circle moment. In an interview with Insider in February, Michele revealed that she and Reich shared a matrimonial meet-cute. “It’s kind of crazy. They always say, ‘It will happen when you least expect it. It will happen when you least expect it!’ And I met my fiancé at my best friend’s wedding,” Michele said, adding that they were seated next to each other. “He moved, and I didn’t see him for a little while. And then my best friend Stephanie kept being like, ‘You should really hang out with Zandy.’”
And that’s clearly exactly what Michele did. “He was always around and at a lot of these mutual friends’ events,” she explained. “It really all happened when I least expected it. It’s a pretty awesome story.”
