“Everywhere you look, everywhere you go, there’s a heart (there’s a heart), a hand to hold onto!” You know how the Full House theme song lyrics go, right? Clearly so does the cast, who you might say internalized those words along the way. Because on Thursday, Bob Saget spoke out amid Lori Loughlin’s college admissions scandal — making him the latest in a growing line of Full House cast members who seem to be offering support to their beleaguered co-star.
On Thursday, TMZ managed to get a few sound bytes from Saget as he and another Full House co-star, John Stamos, were leaving Avra restaurant in Beverly Hills. According to the outlet, the men may not have had much to say on the subject of Loughlin’s alleged involvement in the cheating scam, but their faces told the full story of their loyalty. “You love who you love in your life,” Saget said. “I just love who I love. Candace [Cameron Bure] said it really good at the Kids’ Choice Awards. You love who you love.” However, he did point out that “life’s complicated,” and he didn’t like to talk about the scandal. As for Stamos, he remained tight-lipped, saying only, “I will [address it] at some point — I’m just not ready to talk about it.”
Saget’s reference to the Kids’ Choice Awards alludes to the speech made by Fuller House stars Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber. When the women took the stage to accept the trophy for favorite funny TV show, they appeared to send a message of solidarity to Loughlin. “You have been laughing alongside of our family for four seasons and this family has a lot of heart,” Barber said to the audience. “And where there’s a lot of heart, there’s a lot of love,” interjected Bure. “And a loving family sticks together no matter what.”

It’s unclear at this point how much contact Loughlin may or may not have with her Full House and Fuller House co-stars. On Friday, she and husband Mossimo Giannulli were photographed clearly for the first time since being indicted in the college admissions scandal. The couple is among 50 affluent parents accused of paying bribes in order to get their children accepted into elite universities. Loughlin and Giannulli allegedly agreed to shell out $500,000 to have their daughters Olivia Jade, 19, and Isabella Rose, 20, designated as crew recruits to the University of Southern California — despite the fact they did not participate in crew.
A source close to People claims Loughlin and Giannulli are definitely feeling the heat heading into their court date on April 3. “They are both feeling very stressed out,” the source told People, with another insider adding, “Lori and Mossimo are finding out quickly who their real friends are. It’s not like they are the victims of a crime. They are the crime. Many of their friends don’t want to be associated with them right now.”
Judging by the comments coming from Saget and the rest of the Full House camp, though, Loughlin still has a few “real friends” in her corner. And she’s likely going to need them, especially once Wednesday’s court hearing reveals what repercussions the family faces.
