The One Thing Kristen Bell & Dax Shepard Will Never Agree on Isn’t What We Expected

Couples are known to have disagreements, including silly ones that don’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. Yes, this also includes Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, who always disagree on one thing in particular. And just wait until you hear what that one thing is that Bell was kind enough to recently share with E! News. Not only is her reveal totally unexpected, but it also made us laugh.

According to Bell, she and Shepard will never ever agree on — color. That’s right, color. As she told E! News, “100 percent color. If you go visit him on set and ask him this same question, I guarantee you he will say the exact same thing.”

She continued telling the outlet, “We don’t see the same colors.” Per Bell, the reason they don’t agree on color probably has to do with the former Parenthood actor “for sure” being color blind. There are even two specific colors they’ve never seen eye to eye on. “We have never agreed on two things: teal or gunmetal grey,” The Good Place star hilariously said.

Even though they don’t see the same color, Bell said their disagreement “does not affect our marriage, though in the moment it seems like you very much need your partner to see the same color as you.”

These two have always been an extremely open and honest couple, even when it comes to divulging that they will never agree on something as small as color. Bell and Shepard also aren’t afraid to discuss the more serious issues in life, including the ones they’ve faced as a couple.

For example, in January, Shepard admitted he didn’t think Bell was right for him in the beginning. During an Off Camera interview with Sam Jones, he admitted her goodness made him question their relationship. “I was going, ‘Do I want to be with a Christian who has eight people living in her house for free? Who has to get out of a car when there’s a dog that doesn’t have a leash and ruin her whole day to rescue this dog?”

He later elaborated, “So I wasn’t fearful I would lose her. I wasn’t certain I wanted to be with someone like that. And then what happened, which could’ve only happened the way it did, is that she never, ever said to me, ‘You could be a little better of a person.’ She never, ever suggested that I should do that.”

In the end, Shepard “chose to move more” toward Bell and here they are now married with two daughters living a happy life together. Yes, they don’t see the same color and probably never will, but if they can get through both the small and big disagreements in life, they can get through anything.
