Chrissy Teigen isn’t afraid to speak her mind. A week after her recent appearance at the House Democratic Issues Conference wherein she told women they should say “fuck you” more often, the model and activist has been honored by Time magazine as one of their 100 influential people of 2019. But the gang at Fox News doesn’t seem too happy about it.
The top story on Fox's 10 o'clock hour is Laura Ingraham raging about @chrissyteigen being named to Times top 100 most influential list. Laura is mad that Mrs. Tiegen said a naughty word pic.twitter.com/BHItYHCoqH

During a recent episode of The Ingraham Angle, Fox News host Laura Ingraham slammed Teigen for her inclusion on the list because of her “vicious attacks on President [Donald] Trump.” She continued by chiding Time’s description of Teigen as someone who isn’t afraid to speak her mind and “liked to eat,” saying “Well that’s nice and innovative, I guess….eating.” Ingraham closed her report by playing a clip of Teigen at the Democratic Conference, implying that “most Americans” weren’t a fan of Teigen’s take on “female empowerment.”
This isn’t the first time Teigen has received criticism for her politics. She states with pride that she’s been blocked by President Trump, and both her and husband John Legend are vocal about their political causes. Teigen is also an advocate against body shaming, blasting trolls who have commented on her weight and who wish to see her in a bikini more.
Teigen clapped back at Fox News the next day, calling Ingraham a “corny monster” and declaring “When Time comes out with their 100 most influential white supremacists list, I promise I won’t quest your worthiness,” tagging Ingraham.
Corny monster. There were 1 million other ways to try and take me down and this is what you choose? Fuck you. 😁 https://t.co/wETBvafAzo

Teigen’s inclusion in Time is for her relatability. She shares intimate snapshots of her family and personal life and, yes, her love of food. It’s exciting to see a celebrity act like themselves and Teigen reminds us that’s worth celebrating. Haters gonna hate.
