Bradley Cooper Wants a Reunion With Lady Gaga & You’ll Love His Idea For it

It looks like Bradley Cooper is ready to make an A Star Is Born reunion happen and y’all, sign me up. On Thursday, during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Cooper teased a reunion with Lady Gaga, his muse and partner-in-crime on the Academy Award winning film. Cooper elaborated on what he hoped for if a reunion were to occur and as far as we’re concerned, this really needs to happen.

During his interview, Ellen DeGeneres asked Cooper if there were plans to do a tour or further promotion to maintain momentum from the film and his and Gaga’s performance of “Shallow” at the 2019 Oscars in February. Cooper was polite but pretty blunt about the topic, responding, “I mean, no. But what I thought would be a cool thing to do, maybe one night, would be like a live reading of the script and sing all the songs as we read the script, like at the Hollywood Bowl or something.”

We are all in on any kind of Cooper/Gaga reunion, not only because their chemistry was straight up fire but also because their Oscars performance of “Shallow” was maybe the best live performance of 2019? Of the decade? Of the entire history of music? It may still be too early to call it now, but we know a good thing when we hear it.

Cooper also touched on that “Shallow” Oscars performance while chatting with DeGeneres, shedding light on how he was feeling performing at the award show.

“I actually wasn’t nervous,” he shared, “because I worked so hard, and Lady Gaga is so supportive. But it was terrifying because I’m not a singer and I didn’t sing before this movie, so it was really crazy. But it just shows you that if you work really hard, and you’re with supportive people, you can do things that you never dreamed possible.”

There’s no denying that these two have a solid friendship and they work really well together. From their supportive performance at the Oscars to their unforgettable performance in A Star Is Born, there’s no reason these two shouldn’t reunite. Let’s make it happen, Cooper!
