Don’t get us wrong: we totally respect the fact that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel want to shield their son from the constant publicity they deal with as celebrities. But hey, 4-year-old Silas Randall is incredibly cute — so when we do catch a rare glimpse, we’re pretty excited. On April 27, Silas was spotted at the Bass Pro Legends golf tournament, where he and Biel cheered Timberlake on, and left us hoping we’ll see more of this family dynamic in years to come.
Timberlake and Biel married in Italy in October 2012, and welcomed Silas to their family in 2015. In his 2018 book, , Timberlake explains the decision to keep their son out of the public eye. “We wanted him to be just for us, just for a little while,” the singer shares. “It was important to us to choose how to share him with the world because this is a whole new era for me…It’s no longer just about me. I have a wife, a child — a family. It’s terrifying. It’s invigorating. It’s more meaningful than anything I’ve ever been a part of.”

Timberlake was competing in the golf tournament, while Biel and son Silas were there to cheer him on as a family. Video footage from the day (pictured above) features a very stylish Silas rocking a pink polo and some serious cool-guy shades. And watching his parents dote on him is so heartwarming, with Biel propping him on her shoulders so he can see his dad play, and Timberlake running up to high-five him between rounds.
We don’t know if Saturday’s appearance was an indication that Biel and Timberlake will allow Silas to be photographed more in the future. But judging from Silas eagerly waving to the crowd with his dad, he’ll be more than camera-ready if they do.
