Gone are the days of your typical bachelorette party. The synchronized “Bride Tribe” T-shirts, tiaras and penis-shaped everything — these are all traditions of the past. Now, brides-to-be and their respective bridal parties are theming their bachelorette bash with the things they love most. And in this case, the people they love most, like the Barefoot Contessa celebrity chef and cookbook author, Ina Garten.
This past weekend in Long Island, NY, Nicole Garvey posted a group photo of herself with her bachelorette party guests all wearing short, brown wigs and chambray shirts — Garten’s signature look — ahead of her wedding on July 20. Garvey’s sister, Jessica Garvey, was even dressed as Garten’s hubby, Jeffrey, and another guest dressed as florist Michael Grimm, who frequently appears on Barefoot Contessa.

“How easy was that?! Amazing surprise @inagarten dinner party to end my #HamptonsHen complete with Jeffrey and Michael!!” Nicole captions the photo.
The party may have been a success — and garnered a lot of media attention since the photo was posted a mere two days ago — but the party was missing one thing, er, person: Garten.
One day later, Garten reposted Nicole’s photo and made it clear she had major FOMO.

“Had to share this hilarious bachelorette party in Sag Harbor over the weekend!! Where was my invitation? I would have fit right in!” she writes.
The party even caught the attention of Garten’s bestie, Jennifer Garner.

“The best thing I’ve ever seen. How was I not invited?!!” she comments on the photo, to which Garten responds, “LOL!!! How is it that I wasn’t invited to @Jennifer.garner??!!”
In an interview with People, Nicole says her best friend Tanya Qureshi and her sister brilliantly came up with the idea, knowing full well how much she loves Garten.
“It was a total surprise,” Nicole adds. “They led me outside blindfolded and started playing the Barefoot Contessa-theme music from the show and we’re all standing around the table.”
As for Garten’s invitation? Obviously she’s invited to the wedding.
“It goes without saying that Ina and Jeffrey are welcome at the wedding in Newport, Rhode Island,” Nicole says.
Clear your schedule on July 20, Garten. You have a wedding to attend.
