Nicole Kidman joining Instagram may have been the best thing to happen in our lifetime (move over, iPhone). The Big Little Lies star regularly shares intimate looks at her life and relationship with husband Keith Urban, keeps us updated on her work through her Instagram Stories and treats us to glamorous editorial shots from upcoming interviews. Kidman’s Instagram game is strong. On Wednesday, another treat was bestowed on the world when Kidman shared a rare photo of her daughters, Sunday Rose, 10, and Faith Margaret, 8.
Kidman posted the photo of Sunday and Faith as part of a few behind-the-scenes uploads of her getting ready for the Big Little Lies season two premiere in New York City. She captioned the photo, “I am nothing without the love of my family,” and boy, that certainly rings true in the photo. Kidman is beaming as she hugs her daughters. Even though we can only see that backs of Sunday and Faith’s heads (making this rare photo all the more precious), it’s clear that Kidman is comfortable with showing the world her softer, maternal side as she is with the girls.

Kidman and Urban also had time at some point in the night to recreate some Moulin Rouge magic before they hit the Big Little Lies red carpet. In a separate video posted on her Instagram, Kidman sings part of the “Elephant Medley” from her beloved 2001 film as Urban duets with her and plays the piano. It’s not the first time the couple has sung together, but hell if it isn’t a great reminder these two need to go the Tim McGraw-Faith Hill route and release an album.
