Another day, another drama! Well, sort of. Actually, Lindsay Lohan just reacted to Paris Hilton’s shade, and it was surprisingly… mellow. Is Lohan a changed woman? It remains to be seen. But on a Monday radio appearance on Australia’s Kyle and Jackie O show, the Mean Girls actress gamely responded to questions about her reported feud with her one-time friend. Lohan did squeeze in one light-hearted jab, saying, “Who’s that?” when initially asked about the Hilton heiress. (She even repeated “Who’s that?” for good measure.)
However, when pressed, the former child star did offer a few thoughts on the situation. ICYMI, Hilton sat down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live! in May, where Cohen challenged the heiress-slash-socialite to say three nice things about Lohan — but all she could come up with was “beyond,” as well as “lame and embarrassing.” This isn’t the first time Hilton has made a dig at Lohan either. In 2017, she told MTV News Australia that Lohan “wasn’t invited” during those infamous 2000s-outings with Britney Spears.
So, how does all of this make Lohan feel? Pious, apparently. “Nothing really makes me angry. I have no problems with anyone in my life and I’m grateful for that. I’m a very loving person,” she said, adding, “I mean, if it’s going to good press for someone else, even in a negative way, then I’ll pray for them.”

Lohan went on to explain how her perspective has evolved over the years. “I think when you’re younger, it hits you a little differently, but as time goes on, you age and you kind of roll with the punches. You realize… don’t sweat the small stuff,” she explained. In fact, in the immediate aftermath of Hilton’s comments, Lohan posted a throwback black-and-white photo of the two on Instagram, alluding to Hilton’s new song “Best Friend’s Ass” with the caption: “#beyond friends are true. Love @parishilton congratulations on your new song!”
For what it’s worth, Hilton did backpedal on her catty comments. Shortly after making them, she went on Jenny McCarthy’s SiriusXM show and blamed the bad behavior on nerves. “You know, I was really nervous to go on the show because it was my first time on the show, and I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t know what [Cohen] was going to ask. And I just, at that moment, I didn’t even know — he was like, say three nice things, I didn’t know what to say. And I feel bad now because like, whatever. It’s beyond,” Hilton said, adding that her mother reminded her “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”
As for Lohan, maybe she has really turned over a new leaf. She told Entertainment Tonight in January that she has traded her partying ways for responsibility, running Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club. “It’s more fun to watch other people have their own fun with what they’re doing,” she said. “There’s no judgment in it though. It has nothing to do with my past.”
