It seems the youngest Kardashian sister isn’t totally out of the woods when it comes to relationship drama. Khloé Kardashian responded to cheating claims made by Tristan Thompson’s ex, Jordan Craig, who alleged that Kardashian and Thompson began their relationship while Thompson and Craig were still together. The basketball player and Craig share a two-year-old son, Prince, together, and Thompson and Kardashian started dating while Craig was still pregnant.
Kardashian took to her Instagram to debunk the rumors that she was Thompson’s “mistress” and share her “truth” around the situation. “I’m disappointed that I even feel the need to post this but… I need to say my truth. Take it as you will,” Kardashian wrote in an Instagram story. She then proceeded to share details of how her relationship with Thompson began and how Thompson, at the time, assured her that he and Craig were no longer together, though she was pregnant with their son.
According to Kardashian, Thompson, “pleaded with me that the relationship was over long before we met.” She continued, “He had me talk with his most inner circle,” she said. “He showed me physical poof [sic] (correspondence between the two) and had me on calls with his lawyers to prove his point. His best friends, business associates and even his mother told me, him and his ex were broken up before we met.”
Thompson and Kardashian were first linked in September of 2016, during Craig’s pregnancy. While Kardashian stands by her defense, she did conclude her message with an apology, writing, “I’m sorry for any pain that has been created either way. No woman deserves to go through anything like this!”
The reality star and mogul is no stranger to the same treatment Craig is experiencing. Though the couple did seem to move past Thompson’s first cheating scandal, the couple called it quits earlier this year following Kardashian’s accusations that Thompson cheated on her with family friend Jordyn Woods in February.
Thompson and Kardashian have a daughter together born April 2018, and the reality star has continued to defend her former partner. While the accusations surrounding Thompson continue to become more bleak, Kardashian looks to take on the next phase of her life with her daughter — hopefully with a lot less drama.
