Baby Archie Played a Major Role in Prince William & Harry Ending Their Feud

It seems the arrival of little Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was a blessing for the royal family in more ways than one. According to sources close to the royal family, baby Archie ended Prince William and Prince Harry’s feud after months and months of rumored tension. This is a major step for the brothers, and it’s nice to know that the very adorable addition to their growing family was possibly the cause of it.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, royal expert Katie Nicholl shared her on how Archie has helped the brothers mend fences: “It’s absolutely the case that the brothers did fall out. I was told by a very senior royal source that actually they weren’t talking to each other at one point. I certainly think now that Archie is here, it has probably really helped to improve the relationship. William is over-the-moon that his brother is a dad.”

This is a big, big step forward for the brothers, who have been at the heart of reports for the better part of the year for their rumored feud. In March, Harry and his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, moved out of Kensington Palace and into Frogmore Cottage at Windsor Castle. It was believed the move was the result of the brothers continued clash and how their close living situation wasn’t helping. Harry, William and their wives, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, also parted ways with what would’ve become a joint charity in May. The decision led to comments from royal experts suggesting that the royal quartet had split because of unspecified tension between them and that the charity’s dissolution was a way get some distance from one another.

Signs of an improved relationship for the the brothers is certainly apparent as William and Kate were among the first family members to see Harry and Meghan when Archie arrived. Hopefully, Harry and Meghan warned William and Kate they likely won’t choose them as Archie’s godparents, though. Because we’d hate to see more tension arise — especially when it’s related to little Archie, the family member who helped bring them back together.
