Beyoncé & Jay-Z’s Secret to a “Tight-Knit Family” Is Doing “Everything” with Their 3 Kids

Few celebrity couples inspire the awe and envy of the Carters. But according to a new Us Weekly source, these two Grammy-winning powerhouses don’t let work get in the way of family time — in fact, the source confirms that Beyoncé and Jay-Z have a hands-on relationship with kids Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir. While they do have full-time help, they make every effort to be present in their kids’ lives, including bringing them when they travel for work and being involved in their daily routines while at home.

All of the Carters’ children are still quite young: Blue Ivy is 7 years old, while twins Rumi and Sir are only 2 years old. Nonetheless, this source claims Beyoncé and Jay-Z “try and bring the kids everywhere.” While the twins aren’t yet old enough to travel as frequently, they’ve been involved in a few trips already. “Blue always travels with Beyoncé and comes with her when she’s working,” the source shares. “The twins are getting older and Beyoncé has been taking them out a little more too.”

Of course, these young kids can’t just live on tour with their parents — and the source does acknowledge that Beyoncé and Jay-Z “have nannies for the kids and their assistants help out too.” When the Carters are home, the source says that Jay-Z takes over “daddy duty,” like taking Blue to school in the morning. No matter what else is going on, it’s important to them to share quality time with their kids. “They’re a very tight-knit family and like to do everything together,” says Us Weekly’s source.

It’s so important to spend that quality time with family — especially with young kids. And while we’re impressed that Beyoncé and Jay-Z find that time in their jam-packed schedules, we can’t say we’re surprised. Is there anything this family can’t do?
