Prince George celebrated his sixth birthday on Monday, July 22. The photos were taken in the garden of his family’s London home in Kensington Palace by none other than his mother, Kate Middleton. Who knew the Duchess had such talent behind the camera? For the impromptu photoshoot, the newly minted 6-year-old sported a Nike team England football shirt with the Royal Arms of England crest featuring three lion.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share new photographs of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness’s sixth birthday,” Prince William and Duchess Kate captioned the photos on the official Kensington Palace Instagram account. “Thank you everyone for all your lovely messages!”
An insider close to the royals shared with Us Weekly that the couple is pulling out all the stops for their eldest son. “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have gone all out to organize a birthday party for George,” the source said. The Duchess of Cambridge, “has done most of the organizing herself,” the source continued. We’re happy to hear Prince William has pitched in as well.
The royal festivities will be held at Kensington Palace and will include many of Prince George’s schoolmates, along with his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis 13 months.
