Christie Brinkley’s Daughter Is Her Look-Alike in This Makeup-Free Photo

Is “supermodel” a hereditary trait? One Hollywood family seems to be making a strong case study for that argument — Christie Brinkley’s daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook just shared a makeup-free photo, and it’s hard to deny the young woman has both her mama’s natural beauty and poise in front of the camera.

Brinkley Cook, 21, posted the fresh-faced selfie via her Instagram on July 29, simply captioning the shot, “Morning [fire emoji].” Staring straight into the camera, Brinkley Cook looks relaxed and, well, like a supermodel in a campaign for chunky knit sweaters or some hygge home décor line. Her beachy blonde waves, reminiscent of her mothers, frame her makeup-free face — and some fans couldn’t resist pointing out that the blonde stunner is following in her famous mother’s footsteps. “Take after your beautiful mama,” one fan wrote. “Natural beauty… so stunning,” gushed another.

And, to be clear, Brinkley Cook is, in fact, a model. Signed with IMG models, she has been featured in magazines like Teen Vogue and Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue. She has also been included in People magazine’s “Most Beautiful” issue two years running. When she isn’t smizing out from the pages of magazines, she struts the runway for such high-profile fashion houses as Dolce & Gabbana.

For those who may be thinking, Sure, she’s beautiful like Brinkley… but do they really look alike? Consider a side-by-side photo of Brinkley Cook’s fresh-faced selfie and a photo of young Brinkley in the early ‘80s. There’s definitely a strong resemblance, right?

If nothing else, being the daughter of Brinkley means having some pretty empowering advice handed down to you. Speaking to Closer Weekly in July, Brinkley Cook admitted her supermodel mom imparts simple, yet astute words of wisdom upon her daughter. “She’s mostly just told me to smile — that’s like her No. 1 advice, especially for confidence — to, you know, ‘Smile and you’ll feel it.’” Mama knows what she’s talking about.
