Prince Harry Gushes He ‘Can’t Wait’ to Introduce Meghan Markle & Baby Archie to South Africa

Baby’s first official royal tour is almost here! Prince Harry is taking his family to South Africa soon — and he “can’t wait” to bring Meghan Markle and their son Archie to what has become a “second home” to him over the years. And with the family’s first royal tour rapidly approaching, Harry’s anticipation understandably seems to be growing.

The Duke of Sussex headed to his household’s official Instagram account, Sussex Royal, to share his excitement over the upcoming trip. “In just a few weeks our family will be taking its first official tour to Africa, a region of the world that over the past two decades has been a second home to me. Our team has helped create a meaningful programme that we’re so excited to share with you,” Harry wrote, adding another (super sweet) reason he’s looking forward to this particular trip. “On a personal note, I can’t wait to introduce my wife and son to South Africa! We’ll see all of you very soon. – The Duke.”

The post went on to note that Harry, Meghan and Archie will be visiting South Africa together, while Harry will visit Malawi, Angola and Botswana on his own as part of the royal tour.

Of course, this won’t be Harry and Meghan’s first trip to Africa together — their summer 2016 trip to Botswana seemed to cement their relationship status, especially in the public eye. After the couple became engaged, Harry recalled of the trip, “I managed to persuade her to come and join me in Botswana. We camped out with each other under the stars. She came and joined me for five days out there, which was absolutely fantastic. So then we were really by ourselves, which was crucial to me to make sure that we had a chance to know each other.”

The couple also visited Africa for Meghan’s 36th birthday, so what has always been a special place for Harry has clearly become a special place for his growing family.
