Cute rockstar-meets-country singer couple Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been in a relationship for nearly four years now, and it seems their dynamic is more solid and exciting than ever right now. Exhibit A: The two musicians recently bought a home together, according to reports.
“Gwen and Blake have bought a house together and it’s currently being renovated, which is why they are living in a rental in Bel-Air,” a source told Us Weekly.
This news comes just two months after we learned that Stefani sold the Beverly Hills home she shared with ex Gavin Rossdale (for a number much lower than the original $45 million asking price), so it appears the “Hollaback Girl” singer is ready to move on in more ways than one.
But moving into their new home isn’t the only way Shelton will help his love move on from her 2015 divorce. Stefani appears on the November 2019 issue of Shape, and opened up about her current relationship in an interview with the magazine.
“I feel as if I spent the last four years healing — you know, trying to build my life again,” Stefani told Shape of her relationship. “Having a best friend like Blake to help me do that has been one of the greatest gifts.”

Shelton and Stefani may have seemed like an unlikely couple at first glance — the worlds of country and rock don’t always mix — but the couple, who split their time between LA and Shelton’s native Oklahoma, have clearly settled into a sweet, easy groove, which includes movie nights, the demands of parenthood, and his-and-her workouts, as she told the magazine.
“Balance is the hardest thing, but it’s also the most important — being with my family, having time with Blake where we just watch movies,” Stefani said. “It seems like, with your career, you have to keep swimming, keep moving, or else you’re going to look back and go, ‘Shoot, it’s over.’ I don’t like feeling like that. I want to do creative things when I want, and I want to stop chasing all the time. It’s hard, but I’m really enjoying being in the moment.”
We’re right there with you, Gwen. Here’s to slowing down, enjoying the moment — and a gorgeous new home with your cute beau.
