Netflix November 2019 New Releases: Here’s What’s Headed to the Streaming Service This Month

With October quickly coming to an end, Netflix has released its list of new releases for November — and let’s just say if they were worried about new streaming services like Apple TV Plus or Disney+ dropping this month, they’ve compensated accordingly. How much? Well, they’re dropping a whopping 73 new original movies, shows, documentaries and specials in November, making it the service’s busiest month to date. And that includes the most magical programming of the year: Netflix’s Christmas lineup!

As you’ve probably deduced, though, all of that extra content means room must be made. The Caddyshack movies are taking their gophers and leaving, you’ll have to say goodbye to Blue Bloods, and Coco will sing its way out. If you haven’t yet watched Jason Momoa in The Red Road, do it now before you miss out on more-moa. Take Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups off your holiday watch-list, because it’ll be long gone before Dec. 25 — same goes for Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse.

But it’s okay since, come Nov. 1, you’re going to want to have a clear queue so you can binge-watch all of Netflix’s new offerings. Here are our top picks for titles to stream, along with the full list of arrivals coming soon.

American Son (Nov. 1)

Based on the acclaimed Broadway play of the same name, this drama revolves around a couple frantically trying to piece together answers to find their missing son. And with Kerry Washington playing the mother-on-a-mission, you know it’s going to be good.

Holiday in the Wild (Nov. 1)

We’re of the firm belief that you just don’t see enough Kristin Davis since her Sex and the City days, meaning we’re delighted to see her take the female lead role in this holiday drama opposite Rob Lowe.

Klaus (Nov. 15)

Could this be a new family holiday classic? We’re hopeful. The animated movie follows Jesper (Jason Schwartzman) as “the postal academy’s worst student.” But when he gets shipped off to the Arctic Circle, he finds his true strengths… and some true friends, too.

The Crown: Season 3 (Nov. 17)

All hail Olivia Colman! Er, the Queen! But in all seriousness, we’d watch Colman in anything, so it’s downright lovely she just so happens to be joining the royal family as its monarch on this fantastic series.

The Irishman (Nov. 27)

With Martin Scorsese directing and Robert DeNiro starring, this drama has the potential to be a big watch for Netflix. Plus, the subject matter is intriguing: It tells the story of Frank Sheeran, a WW2 vet who doubled as a mobster. Did we mention that Al Pacino, Joe Pesci and Harvey Keitel also star?!
