Felicity Huffman is committed to owning her role in the college cheating scandal that ensnared her and other high-profile celebs. Nine days after her release from the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California after serving 11 days of her 14-day prison sentence, Huffman has now begun serving her community service.
On Sunday, November 3, she volunteered at The Teen Project, the Los Angeles group that helps homeless women and victims of sex trafficking with housing, education, and other resources.
The Desperate Housewives alum appeared for her service in an appropriately modest outfit: a black turtleneck sweater, jeans, and flats.
A source also told E! that Huffman was interested in helping this group even before she was sentenced back in September, even touring its facility with her daughter, Sophia Macy. “She met a lot of people and seemed to be taking it all very seriously.”

Following that visit to The Teen Project, she surrendered to federal custody to accept her fate. During sentencing, she told the court that she actually “look[ed] forward to doing my community service hours and making a positive impact on my community.”
Huffman’s approach stands in stark contrast to that of Full House alum Lori Loughlin, who has fought the charges against her — including the new bribery charges brought on November 1. She and her husband Mossimo Giannulli pled not guilty to those as well.
