Chrissy Teigen’s New Website Is Up &, Bonus, She’s Answering Fans’ Most Random Life Questions

Stop what you’re doing right now — Chrissy Teigen‘s new Cravings website is live, and it merits all of your attention. On Monday, the TV personality and cookbook author enlisted the help of husband John Legend and the couple’s kids Luna, 3, and Myles, 1 ½, to announce the site’s official launch (along with a cameo by Teigen’s mom Vilailuck). Bonus? On her new dotcom, Teigen is answering all of fans’ most random questions to hilarious effect.

Teigen took to Twitter on Monday to share the major development. In the video, she gushes, “Some of you have been around since my very first tiny, tiny website — it was like a WordPress blog, and I updated it from my phone. I’ve been wanting to do a real website where it was a true community of people that love Cravings, love the cookbook, love the cookware. Just a place where you could see everything that is our family. We wanted to share everything in one little spot for you guys. So, everybody welcome to the Cravings family. We’re so excited to have you because I’m so proud to do this for you… and John is proud to pay for it.”

The video is trademark Teigen: fun, charming, playful and, naturally, a little smart-alecky. And, well, Legend and the kids are predictably adorable. In the video’s caption, Teigen revealed her new domain. “We did it we did it it’s up!!!” she exclaimed, adding, “CRAVINGSBYCHRISSYTEIGEN.COM is up! (Please clap).”

There’s a lot to love about the site, including drool-worthy recipes, insightful restaurant guides and behind-the-scenes pics and videos from the Teigen-Legend household. But one of the best surprises is Teigen’s “Ask Chrissy” section. Subscribers can log in and ask apparently any totally rando question weighing on their heart, and Teigen will respond in classic Teigen fashion.

“Hi Chrissy, my cat gets upset whenever I eat chips — but I’m not willing to give them up for his happiness. How can I compromise,” asks a fan named Cassie, to whom Teigen responds, “Cassie, Your cat sounds like a hater, but it is important to respect the feelings of family, even when it’s hard for us to understand their reasoning. Have you asked him about his irrational hatred of chips? Maybe it stems from a traumatizing incident with chips, or maybe he was a fitness expert in a past life. Or perhaps he just doesn’t like to see you happy. Or he wants chips himself. I dunno. I’ve never had a cat. They make my eyes swell shut.”

Asks another fan, “How do you keep your towel on so well? I give up after about 10 times of readjusting.” Teigen replies, “Dearest Kirsten, If you lived in my home, you’d know I actually do a horrible job of keeping the towel on my body. There is not one person who has ever been in our house that hasn’t seen it fall completely to the ground. I open and re-tie it about every 25 minutes. I invested in the ones with the elastic top and Velcro but I’ve found that I feel significantly grosser in it and have a slightly more depressing day than I would in a regular towel.”

And there are many more gems like that on the new site. So, yeah, gtg; we’re busy compiling a list of all the things we’ve been waiting years to ask our favorite social media life guru.
