Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Let This Archie Milestone Slip While Visiting with Military Families

In the US, Veterans Day is right around the corner — a holiday referred to as Remembrance Day in the UK and elsewhere. In advance of the holiday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared some Archie news on a military family visit, bonding with the young kids and their parents.

As a veteran himself, Harry is particularly sympathetic toward the families of deployed service members. Entertainment Tonight reports Harry saying this: “I can’t imagine what it’s like to miss so much — as they change so quickly.”

Harry is now a father himself to 6-month-old Archie, and likely had his son on his mind as he met with these families. Meghan was the one who mentioned Archie’s latest milestone, though, telling a young girl there: “Look at all your little teeth. Archie just got two teeth!”

The Duke and Duchess commemorated their visit to Broom Farm Community Centre with two Instagram posts, sharing video footage and photos from the day. Here’s what they wrote on the Sussex Royal Instagram account:

Every year during the month of November we pause to remember and honor all those who have served their country here in the UK, across the Commonwealth and around the world…During the visit yesterday, Their Royal Highnesses met with young families who shared their experiences as parents and as couples who are often apart from their loved ones for months at a time. A reminder that a life of service does not simply describe the person wearing the uniform, but the entire family.

Meghan and Harry will join in on several further commemoration events as Remembrance Day approaches, greeting veterans Thursday morning for the 91st Field of Remembrance. As usual, the couple has proved their willingness to go above and beyond to honor the causes they care about.

We so admire what they’re doing — but if it’s not too much to ask, we’d also love a photo of those baby teeth on their Instagram soon.
