With one category being announced every day until the Sexiest Man Alive issue hits stands this Friday, Nov. 15, you’ve got plenty of man-candy to help you pass the time.
So, let’s recap the people’s choice winners up to this point. In the Sexiest Reality Star category, Queer Eye‘s Antoni Porowski bested The Bachelorette‘s Mike Johnson and Tyler Cameron, Vanderpump Rules’ Tom Sandoval and Dancing with the Stars‘ Val Chmerkovskiy. Are men who make you laugh more your M.O.? The Daily Show‘s Trevor Noah came out on top in the Sexiest Funny Guy category, being chosen over fellow laugh factories Hasan Minhaj, John Mulaney, Rob Delaney, and Kumail Nanjiani.
As far as the Sexiest Athlete goes, People revealed that Stephen Curry was a “slam-dunk” with readers, edging out Mike Fisher, Rafael Nadal, Michael Phelps, and Bubba Wallace. If you love a guy who always looks sharp, you’re probably not surprised to hear that Henry Golding was voted Sexiest Funky Fashion sense — followed by A$AP Rocky, Donald Glover, Eddie Redmayne, and Jeff Goldblum.

People‘s Sexiest Man Alive issue always proves to be a popular edition for the publication. Last year, Idris Elba was crowned, humbly telling People at the time, “I was like, ‘Come on, no way. Really?’ Looked in the mirror, I checked myself out. I was like, ‘Yeah, you are kind of sexy today.’ But to be honest, it was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise — an ego boost for sure.”
Prior to Elba, winners have included Blake Shelton (2017), Dwayne Johnson (2016), David Beckham (2015), Chris Hemsworth (2014) and many, many more.
