This family is anything but bland. On Monday, a super-cute video of Victoria Beckham dancing with her son Romeo Beckham in their kitchen made its way to social media — and they weren’t just doing any dance. Rather, the 17-year-old got a quick lesson in Spice Girls‘ choreography from Posh Spice herself who, you know, just so happens to be his mom. The mother-son duo even had a backup dancer in the form of whoever was preparing the family’s food at the kitchen island behind them.
In the video, Romeo looks a little uncertain as the iconic 1997 Spice Girls hit “Spice Up Your Life” starts to play. Victoria, on the other hand, has enough confidence to carry both of them through the brief routine, even breaking out her trademark pointing-to-the-crowd move. By the time the short video is finished, you’ll be out of your own seat, dancing to the tune of “Slam it to the left, if you’re having a good time!”
Victoria clearly enjoyed the tiny reunion tour in her kitchen, captioning the video, “Not the average day in the kitchen. @romeobeckham x VB.” Adorably, Romeo played the part of the embarrassed teen in the comment thread, writing, “Thanks for this mum,” alongside a laugh-til-you-cry emoji.

Outside of the Beckham home, the rest of the Spice Girls are working together on new and exciting projects for 2020. In a recent interview with MailOnline, “Baby Spice” Emma Bunton hinted, “We have talked about new music. I wish I could say more. We are looking for co-writers. We are looking to do this animation project next year.”
As for Victoria not participating in this year’s reunion tour or next year’s tentative projects, Bunton insisted there’s no bad blood between the former bandmates. “We all just love Victoria to bits,” she said. “But doing this show without her helped us feel confident as a four-piece. It was an amazing experience and we would never ever force Victoria to come back.” FWIW, Bunton says Victoria did send the girls “the biggest bunch of flowers” during their London tour dates this summer.
Besides, the women all understand that Victoria stays busy already — between her successful fashion collection and being the parent of four children (three of whom are teens!), her schedule is undoubtedly packed. But the fact that she’s passing her Spice Girls’ dance moves on to the next generation proves she’ll always be Posh Spice at heart.
Hmm, come to think of it, Posh Mom sounds like the parenting-lifestyle blog we’ve been missing in our lives.
