No one does a Christmas card quite like the Kardashian fam, and we’ve been eagerly waiting to see what they come up with this year. But the big whole-family card hasn’t come just yet — and this year, it might not come at all. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West just revealed a family Christmas card with their kids, and their kids alone — instead of the traditional full-family, all-matching extravaganza. We’d love to think there’s secret inter-Kardashian drama behind this choice, but Kim did have her own card in 2018 too, so maybe this is just their new holiday tradition. Let’s take a look!
Kim posted the photo to her Instagram today, with the caption “The West Family Christmas Card 2019.” Kim Kanye, and their four kids — 6-year-old North, 4-year-old Saint, 23-month-old Chicago and 7-month-old Psalm — are sitting on their staircase, dressed casually in sweatsuits. Kim and the kids are in matching gray, while dad Kanye sports a white top.

Chicago, who’s perched on her dad’s lap, is also holding a cookie: an accident, or a bribe to get her to stay put? Back in August, Kim shared the first-ever photo with all four kids, explaining in the caption how tough it was to take. “I thought taking a pic with three kids was hard,” she admitted. “OMG this is almost impossible!”

This has been a big year for the Kardashian-West family: Kim is studying law, becoming more politically engaged and launched a shapewear brand, while Kanye is apparently planning an, uh, interesting presidential campaign. And of course, this is the year the family welcomed baby Psalm, turning their family of five into a family of six.
As to why we’re seeing a West Christmas card, but not a full Kardashian card: We’re still wondering if there’s more Kardashian sister drama we don’t know about, as all the Kar-Jenners have been mysteriously quiet about the possibility of a family card. We’re sure there’s still one coming if Kris Jenner has anything to say about it — but if last year was any indication, we’ll have to wait until the 24th to find out!
