40 years later, Grease is still the word. In honor of the iconic film’s 40-year anniversary, some of the cast members reunited at the Coral Sky Amphitheater for the Meet n’ Grease sing-along event, including John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. The actors — who played Danny and Sandy in the beloved 1978 film — donned their Grease-inspired wardrobes, complete with a black leather jacket for Travolta and a yellow pleated skirt for Newton-John.
The actress took to Instagram to document this incredible moment. “First time in costume since we made the movie! So excited!!” she captioned the adorable photo. In the pic, the on-screen couple is seen holding hands while grinning ear-to-ear.

“This is exactly how I imagined Sandy and Danny would look in the future,” one fan commented, while another added, “The dream of you guys going up into the sky at the end of the move and staying together forever just came true!”
Later in the evening, the actress changed into a more T-Birds inspired look, complete with a black leather jacket — similar to the one she famously auctioned off for more than $240,000 with proceeds going to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Center. Newton-John and Travolta both participated in a Q&A at the event, where they were seen giggling together and enjoying their time.
