There are few things sweeter than baby’s first Christmas! From Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s son Psalm to Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson’s daughter Birdie, Hollywood’s newest brood of babies enjoyed their inaugural Yuletide this year. Spoiler alert? The photos of these festive tots could make any holiday grinch’s heart grow ten times as big.

This end-of-year holiday is inherently magical, but having a little one around really amps up the whimsy. Have you ever watched a baby stare at twinkle lights? Grapple with wrapping paper? Sure, they may be too young to remember this very first holiday. Their parents never will, though — and they’ll undoubtedly immortalize the event in a way that their kids can cherish once they’re all grown up, too.
